A unique project where the main house was set far back on property so that the ADU could be sited in front of it. It was a requirement of the project that enough room be left over for a generous driveway and passage back to the main house. The solution was a split-level layout which allowed the ADU to encroach into the side setback but still contain enough space for a discrete bedroom, kitchen, and living spaces.
